Mynydd y Gwair, north Swansea - Wind Turbine Power Station - Planning Approval and Section 106 Legal Agreement:-
Planning Permission is now finally approved.
Below: General Info off Circular with my Personal comments added >
As you will know the City & County of Swansea Council resolved on 3-2-13, over 13 months ago, to Approve Planning Permission for this Application by RWE Npower, subject to the Applicant RWE Npower and the LandOwner the Somerset Trust aka Duke of Beaufort and the Council all signing up to a Section 106 Agreement to the many conditions imposed. Today 6-3-14 – over thirteen months on. The Applicant has delivered to the Council the signed Agreement in order to go into the formal four day Local Planning Inquiry on Tuesday next at 10am at the Dylan Thomas Centre Swansea 11th March 2014 with formal Planning Permission – to seek to get what they now need next as their next hurdle – “Approval for the Common Land Exchange and Appropriate Replacement Land”. Hopefully a large crowd of those opposing the Wind Turbine Power Station will turn out for a determined passive disciplined very quiet protest – not to upset the very professional appointed Planning Inspector. The Section 106 Agreement is now a Public Document. Seek out and “hard paper” form, and also in e mail “enclosure attachment” form.
Unfortunately, I do not know if I can make it on Tuesday next 11-3-14 to the Local Inquiry as given notice of above also note as indicated above it is suggested opposition is kept pretty passive and quiet (I cannot do passive and quite, so best I stay away or otherwise if decision goes in favor of the Duke of Somerset I may shout FIGHT!... NOT FLIGHT?) so, I guess that means Banners and Flags, Placards and Posters are out? Suggest you make up your own minds on that? Important thing is that there is a good turn out of Protesters Against Windmills, to show the Old and New Conquistadores their days of pillaging and robbing our land are over on Mynydd y Gwair. So give this information wide publicity by all means possibe.
Please pass this on to friends and neighbours.
Let’s all hope that the application stumbles and falls at this last hurdle over the Common Land.
